California Nupur Dance Academy teaches children and adults the beauty of Kathak, an Indian classical dance that emphasizes on story-telling, grace, and accuracy. The academy currently teaches more than 100 students, but its teachers still maintain a close relationship with their students.

It is led by Dipanwita Sengupta, and is located in the Bay Area, California. She is assisted by Paramita Roy. California Nupur Dance Academy attracts various students, from toddlers to adults.

We demand a lot, from both our students and our teachers. We expect excellence on all fronts, and hope that this high bar extends to areas other than learning a classical dance.
